September Monday 15th – 10 to 5pm – hosted by Nagaloka Portsmouth

For Order Members, Mitras and others – who resonate with the using the Buddhist teachings to overcome addiction – as a way out of suffering – which was taught by Shakyamuni

Be part of the Buddhist Recovrey Movement. Since mindfulness has knocked down the hospital doors and work industry doors, Buddhism for recovery has been following sharply behind on it’s heels. Every month a different variation of Buddhist Recovery is happening.

What makes Recovery Buddhist? What distinguishes it from other reocvery prorgrams? How can Eight Step Reocvery compliment other recovery programs out there? Come along for this day retreat. In fact make a weekend of it and join us on Sunday at Nagaloka for a day retreat.

This is a day lead by Vimalasara and supported by Narrotama

The day – will explore

Meeting Formats
The steps
Importance of the five precepts – principles to train the mind
Confidentiality
Issues/Concerns – of having a recovery community at Buddhist Centres

Please note – you could make this a two day retreat – as Vimalasara will be leading a day retreat on the Sunday – exploring craving and illwill – as the root cause of addiction. So why not join us for two days.
