The building project at Vajrasana Retreat Centre is now under way and is due for completion Spring 2016. The expanded centre will require a team of three to live together in the new community accommodation, and run the centre on a day-to-day basis. Abhayavajra is planning to continue living at Vajrasana after the completion of the building, helping set up the community.
The LBC council are now inviting expressions of interest from any male Order member or Mitra interested in being part of this new community and Right Livelihood team.
There will be three main areas of responsibility - the garden, housekeeping/maintenance, and food/kitchen management. Although there will be some degree of specialisation, it will often be necessary for people to cover for each other. We are looking for men who want to be part of a team, living and working together to provide the best possible conditions for those coming on retreat.
