According to traditional Buddhist teaching our views about life are generally upside down
We see what is always changing as permanent, what is unreal as real, painful things as pleasant and ugly things as beautiful ……
And despite the fact that I personally accept that every action and mind event I have that is motivated by greed, ill will and delusion is a road to my own and others’ suffering I continue to act from this place
It was a moment of clarity after meditating this morning that urged me to try and develop more trust that acting from kindness, generosity and clarity = happiness!
It is hard because I think so much of our conditioning encourages us to look out for numero uno …. I need to learn to operate counter intuitively!
And meditation is the engine room for me to succeed in this mission …
