Many Opportunities to Learn Meditation at Portsmouth Buddhist Center
Meditation is really very simple, and it can be a greatly helpful tool in the life of anyone who chooses to make it a part of what they do on a regular basis. We teach traditional Buddhist meditations, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to practice and benefit from them. Our basic meditation workshops, Saturdays 10AM - 1PM, focus on either Mindfulness of Breathing or the Loving Kindness/Metta Bhavana meditation. Our four-week courses, Thursdays 7-9PM cover both of these core practices. All classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Offered by donation. $40-20 suggested for Saturday workshops; $80-40 suggested for four-week courses.
