Amrutdeep writes from India with the news of the death of Dhammachari Krpakara, saying - “Dear Order Members, I am sad to inform you that Dhammachari Krpakar passed away unexpectedly on the morning of July 23rd from a heart attack. He was at Taluka Varud, in Dist. Amravati., India.
He was born on 15 January 1959 and got ordained on 6 June 1999. Amoghasiddhi and Vivekratna were his K.Ms. His Private & Public Preceptor was Subhuti and he had been practicing the Shakyamuni sadhana since his ordination.
Krpakar was a very dedicated & extraordinary Order Member: with lots of enormous energy & spirit he was engaged in spreading the Dhamma throughout all the villages around Amravati District. With his tremendous hard work he was able to raise funds to built up a very beautiful big Vihara in Varud, which cost Rs.12 lakh. (1,200,000) and had succeeded in buying some open land nearby at a cost of about Rs. 8 lakh (800,000). He was a High School Teacher.
Most recently he was present at Subhuti’s recent Order Retreat at Bhaja, and was in a very positive mental state.
His Funeral ceremony took place on 24th morning at 10.00 a.m. at Varud.
